Do my caregivers have the skills for my health condition?

How are your services different from hiring a private caregiver?

Is there a contract or minimum commitment?
No long-term contracts. We offer flexible arrangements that can change as your needs change. Some services have a 3-hour minimum visit, but you're never locked into an extended commitment.

What training do I need?
We hire caregivers with a range of experience. If you have a caring personality, we can train you on specific caregiving skills. Specialized training for dementia, palliative care, medication administration, and more is provided at no cost to you.
Are caregivers at Eliana employees or contractors?
All of our caregivers are employees. This means we provide benefits, handle payroll, withhold taxes, and cover workers compensation insurance. You're protected, supported, and valued as a team member.
Do I need a car to be hired?
Owning a vehicle is not required, but a valid driver's license and clean driving record are needed to drive clients' cars for errands and appointments. Some roles may require your own vehicle — we'll discuss during the interview.
What type of schedule can I expect?
Flexible schedules: full-time, part-time, live-in, or as-needed. You choose what works for you — mornings, evenings, weekends, or overnights. We'll work with your availability, not against it.
What support do caregivers receive?
24/7 on-call support from our office team, ongoing training and CEU credits, access to a family portal for updates, and regular check-ins from your care coordinator. You're never alone — we're always just a phone call away.
